Guess who's back?

Guess who's Back????.......Yup Its me......back again with yet another scribbling

Unlike my previous scribbles this one will NOT have any message for life because frankly, its getting boring I haven't got anything. So this is gonna be one really short and sorta meaningless post listing out things Ive learnt, or things that have I have been thinking about in the past few weeks.

1) Vishal and V.U, my "students" beat me at debating for the first time....Congrats people.....you rock! (Oh and btw, I'd trash you people in 8 minute speeches :P) IT WAS FRKIN 2 MINUTE SPEECHES!!!!

2) One more Tamil film Ive been waiting for finally releases! (Manmadhan Ambu) FINALLY..... Ill be sure to catch it.

3) You can have really fun conversations with Prabha Ma'am and Dino if you try

4) You can have a REALLY GOOD TIME chatting with your friends from your prev. school on fb! Its amazing!!!!

5) Having a 3 year old cousin in you home is Reallly fun. But it can get kinda annoying if he keeps saying "This is game?" when you're trying to post something in your blog.

6) There's still 1 school day left and Im hoping for the best.



7) People have lot of fun gossiping about you.

8) Neeksi dances while she talks. (Hi)


9) Desk Ball is different from Bounce Ball.....and better....There are lesser chances of you getting caught if you play in X B

Is Blogging Dying????

So, Im back again.......FINALLY.......

All of you must have noticed the title by now. Thats a serious question I wanna ask......seriously.....

IS BLOGGING DYINGG????

Last week on Oct 4th our school hosted a bunch of other schools for Round 6 Legs 9 and 10 of the Indian/Inter School Debating Championships (ISDC) (I WAS THERE!!! YAY!!!). The first debate for all schools was on the motion "THW not have a facebook profile" and our school was against BVM. We won the debate, but what I noticed in that debate was this --

Our brilliant third speaker, Nikhil Venkatesa asked people to quit fb coz of "security and privacy concerns" and asked people to spread their "messages" on blogs. This was in response to a point raised by our opposition who said facebook could be used for spreading social messages. However, this point was "rebutted" by the opposition who just said "blogging is dead. no-one cares about bloggin" (or sumthng to that effect.

And Thats why I ask myself that question. True. We have to admit that not many of us talk about blogging and that many of my classmates are blissfully unaware of what a Blog is, so I was forced to conclude that Blogging is dying and was seriously planning to ask everyone to be more active on blogs when---

Neeharika Patnam comes and asks me "Do you have a Blog?". This made me think again and before I knew it, we had exchanged blog addresses and Ive already commented on one of her posts there.

And Athindra, another one of my friends also comes and talks to me about blogs, which DOES show that blogging is Still living. But the question is not whether blogging is dead but whether blogging is DYING?

And the answer is YES. We're having low activity around blogs and we really need to be more active. Spread the word, Ask more people to create blogs and we can get blogging back on its feet. To my "non-blogging" readers.....Its simple. Visit blogger.com, follow the instructions and VOILA! So for now,,

(Read fully)Don't Expect Me To Practice What I Preach

Okay, Here is my 2nd scribble.

I meant to do it yesterday but I sorta couldn't so here I am doing it now. Well, as you could have inferred from the 1st scribble, I had my science test yesterday and frankly, I flopped  did okay. But lets move on now. This week is gonna be busy and I SWEAR I want nothing to do with all the tests coming up. English (If you count that as a test), Math Oral test, Math written test, Social Test, blah, blah,blah...... The list keeps going.

After all this, I still need to read my brother's blog and then I have to finish watching that WrestleMania 19 video that is opened up in another tab as I write this. But there is actually a point I wish to establish in this scribble. Most of you would already know this and think that me scribbling this here is L.A.M.E but hey, I have nothing else to write! :P

Here it is: Just because you like someone a lot doesn't mean that you don't take the criticism against them.

For example, I <3 Eminem and 2 people following this blog (points.....Aasha and Arun) don't like him.....and thats an understatement. But it's NOT that kind of criticism Im talking about. NOT about the celebs you love. Recently I saw this AMAZING parody of Eminem's Not Afraid on youtube by "keyofawesome" and I loved it as much as I loved the real song.

Im talking about people who you easily relate with. Your best friend, your cousin/sibling or hell, maybe it's even yourself. The fact is that there are always people who hate you and people who want to pull you down. We just need to make sure that we don't get pulled down. As Eminem (yes, I go back to him again) once said:

"If someone hates you, it means you stood up for something"

which is absolutely true though it could also be the fact that you're just plainly better than them and that they're just.......(what's that word?)... JEALOUS.

But this doesn't mean you get to act like a snobbish <censored> and say "Im better than you" just because everyone hates you now. If you do that, you just suck.

The point is that you try to stay on the right side of things and if people hate you, you take it in your stride.

Again Id like to give a beautiful quote from the film Balls of Fury: "You must believe in yourself even when no-one else does..."

The sentence is not complete. The speaker goes on to to complete the sentence with "...like right now, for instance" (R.O.F.L) but again, that's completely besides the point. What Im trying to tell you people is to NEVER lose your self-image. As many people (no-one knows who said it first) have said.... :

"You only suck when you think you do"

It doesn't matter what the actual saying is. I just hope you people got the point.

At the end of all this, Id only like to ask you people to look at the title of this scribble again.... :P

1st Scribblings!

Okay....Here I am in my 1st official "Scribbling" on this blog. Frankly, I dont even know what to do here but basically, I think It'll work out and soon I'll have lots to post! I created 2 or 3 blogs before but I just stopped using them and I promise (both to you and to myself) that it won't happen to this blog.

Lets 1st get into the language of this blog
1. Everything thats written (posted or commented or anything else) are "Scribblings" or just "Scribbles" (v- scribble)
2. "Adios" or "Cya" are for the words bye, goodbye, farewell or anything similar

Um...thats all I have for now.... If something new develops, Ill post later.....  Right now, Ive to go study for my science test tommorrow :(
